On Air Personality, Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi has sent a stern message to employers who pay their workers based on their marital status, saying it is unfair to deprive someone of the pay they deserve.
The CEO of Gbemisoke shoes in a series of tweets stated that all employers have to be fair to their workers whether they are married or single.
According to her, some employers pay their employees based on how many children they have, marital staus etc.
She added that she has been in situations whereby she would ask for pay increase but she get responses like; ”But what do you spend money on? it is not like you have kids/dependants”

Some employers look at your social status I.e they say you are comfortable so this salary is what you deserve for 10 year no increase
