Virgin pregnancies are rare but they do happen. That is the case of BBNaija 2020 housemate, Wathoni Anyasi.
Recall that the 29-year-old had revealed she had a son during their introduction in the house some days back.
Researchers have studied the phenomenon called “virgin pregnancy” to understand why it would be reported. In a survey of 7,870 pregnant women, they discovered that 0.8 percent of the women (45 total) reported becoming pregnant without having vaginal sex.
Wathoni said she got pregnant as a virgin at 23 years.
