Asisat Oshoala has said her father is unhappy with her shirtless World Cup win celebration after Super Falcons beat co-hosts, Australia 3-2.
Oshoala scored in the 72nd minute of the Falcons’ second game in Group B after coming in as a substitute at the Lang Park Stadium, Australia.
While celebrating her goal, she removed her shirt, an act that has sparked debate from different quarters including her father.
In a post on Instagram, the Barcelona striker said:
“My dad is definitely not happy with my choice of celebration but then again, life is a collection of MOMENTS,” the African Woman Footballer of the Year said in an Instagram post wherein she attached photos of the goal celebration.
