6 Things To Know As Big Brother Season 6 Premiere Date Is Announced


Multichoice has announced that reality show, Big Brother Naija Season 6 will start Saturday, July 24th.

The organisers made the announcement during a press conference on Monday in Lagos.


This season comes with some changes and here are 6 things you should know.

1.For the first time, BBNaija will include a special double launch show on Saturday, July 24, and Sunday, July 25, 2021.

2.The show will last 72 days ending on October 3, 2021.

3. The winner will go home with a whopping N90million, the biggest prize money ever since the show started.

4. There will be no SMS voting as fans will now be able to vote for their favourite housemates for free on the official website and application. This is to allow a more inclusive participation for fans outside Nigeria.

5. In line with Covid-19 safety measures, the live shows will adopt the Lockdown season style with no guests.

6. Fans in the United Kingdom will have access to the live 24/7 show via African online streaming service, Showmax for the first time ever.
