‘Nigerians Buy The Cheapest Fuel In The World’ – Eniola Badmus

Eniola Badmus has slammed those criticising President Bola Tinubu over the increase in pump price caused by fuel subsidy.

The price of fuel has skyrocketed to 617 per litre following the removal of subsidy in May 2023.

This has caused an uproar in the country as its increase bites hard on citizens.

In a recent chat with media personality, Daddy Freeze, the actress who is a staunch supporter of the president said that even at N617 per litre, Nigerians still buy the cheapest petrol in the world.

She said many of those criticising the president don’t know the benefit of the removal of subsidy on petrol.

She said, “A lot of these keypad warriors do not even have an idea of what subsidy is. It was when they removed it that they knew what the government was doing. Even till now, I think we still buy the cheapest fuel in the world.”

The thespian maintained that her support for President Tinubu remains unshakable, stressing that she has “never seen a philanthropist as our current president.”
