Guinness World Records has officially declared army veteran, Esperance Fuerzina as the woman with the most tattoos and body modifications in the world.
She has covered 99.98% of her body in tattoos and 89 body modifications but she still wants more.
Her tattoos extend to her hands and feet, the scalp, and extremely delicate areas such as her tongue, gums, sclerae (the white outer layer of the eyeballs), and genitals.

The 36-year-old from Bridgeport, USA, got her first tattoo on her hip aged 21 and she is thrilled with how far she has come since then.
She said: “To be the most tattooed woman and to have the most body modifications feels a little crazy, I am grateful and excited for the future – and of course, I am not done.”
Although that first drawing on her left hip was quickly covered up by her third tattoo, a bright and majestic phoenix, it sparked a love that has accompanied Esperance ever since.
She knew right away, then, that she loved tattoos and wanted more of it.
“I usually allow the artists a lot of creative freedom once I have found one whose style I am comfortable with and inspired by,” she explains.
“I do some of my own tattoos, but I mostly fill right now.”
Coming from a military family, Esperance spent most of her youth moving around the South of the United States. She also lived in Japan for three years. After that, following in her family’s footsteps, she joined the Army as a medical service officer.
With 89 body modifications, Esperance Fuerzina broke the World title for most body modifications by a female who was unbroken for over a decade. Maria José Cristerna from Mexico who set the previous title in 2012 had 49 body modifications.
Her first body modification started with a tongue split in 2014 before she later had five facial implants and a wide range of piercings on her ears, nipples, labia, and gums.
Speaking about why she gets tattoos, she said:
“I have had a pretty nomadic life, and not much room in my (army) pack, I felt I could take this with me wherever I go.”
She said the body art “turns dark times into light” and described how it reminds her of what she has been through while helping her evolve.
