Idia Aisien Success Story

Media Personality, Idia Aisien’s Success Story Will Encourage You Never To Give Up

Media personality, Idia Aisien celebrated her birthday sometime this week and she shared the story of how she came to be a successful media lady despite life’s trials.

She wrote:

“From a shy and mischievous catholic girl to an outspoken TV host. The story is too long but I’ll try…I remember 3am buses and trains to nyc from dc maybe twice every week when I wanted to become a model more than anything. I can still taste tears of countless rejections…

I remember the 18 credit and work semesters, the internships I juggled with modeling jobs, and being the Nigerian RA on the 4th floor who secretly reported anyone drinking and smoking ganja (???) —imagine how few my friends were lol. How about the endless research at NYU on how new media and public relations could affect peace building in developing countries?—NOBODY cared! LOL. My move to Nigeria was even more unplanned, but God connected all the dots. He has made sense out of the most random encounters and sent helpers in the most unassuming ways. It might be funny now, but the hustle was nothing to laugh about! And there’s only one lesson to take away; nothing happens by accident!”
