International Breweries Foundation Launches Kickstart Nigeria for Young Entrepreneurs (How To Apply)


International Breweries Plc., a member of ABInBev brewer, has flagged off the 2019 edition of Kickstart, an innovative youth entrepreneurship programme that empowers young people with the financial muscle and training to implement different entrepreneurial ventures.

The company also unveiled its new foundation, International Breweries Foundation.

‘Kickstart’ was introduced in 2016 to empower young entrepreneurs knowing that the growth of Nigeria increasingly depends on the ability of its enterprising youth population to unlock their entrepreneurial potential.

The programme supports young entrepreneurs through business training, seed capital and post-investment support (mentoring and coaching). Therefore this programme has a solution to every possible challenge.

It is aimed at instilling a culture of entrepreneurship among Nigerian youths; by encouraging them to develop their big ideas into sustainable businesses also expand their existing businesses; through the provision of material and financial support because this would lead to economic development.

Are you eligible?

  • If your age range is from 18 years to 35 years
  • Also, you must be able to communicate in English language (read, write and speak).
  • If you reside in and have your business operations in Nigeria.
  • Besides, your  business must be within the following areas:

(a) Agriculture
(b) Circular Packaging such as recycling
(c) Climate Action
(d) Water Stewardship
(e) ICT
(f) Education
(g) Manufacturing/Production
(h) Crafts
(i) Healthcare
& Others
Most importantly; For an existing business, businesses must not be more than 3 years.
