Judith Omonua, A Nigerian businesswoman and CEO, the Ghunueffect brand has died following her inability to travel abroad for surgery due to the lockdown.

Judith reportedly battled a heart failure for years but kept working and responding to clients’ requests even from her sickbed.

She was due to travel abroad for a heart pacemaker surgery before she died on Monday, April 27.

Tributes have continued to pour in as social media users mourned her untimely death.

1. Judith Omonua was born on 18th September 1995 in Warri, Delta state.

2. She was the seventh and last child.

3. Judith attended Christ the King group of schools, Picfleur Montessori High school, and Seat of Wisdom, Warri for her primary and secondary education.

4. She studied political science at Covenant University and graduated in 2017.


5. She trained as a makeup artist with a special interest in FX makeup while in school.

6. She developed a love for badminton after her older sister introduced her to the game and she was the female captain of the Covenant University badminton team.

7. She relocated to Lagos in 2015.

8. Judith registered her company as Ghunueffect Multilinks Limited with her mother, sister in law, and older sister in 2016.

9. She launched the Ghunueffect skincare brand in 2017.

10. Judith gave up her career as a makeup artist when her health started declining in 2017.

11. She battled heart failure for 3 years which worsened and confined her to a wheel chair.

12. Her wish was that her brand continues even after her death.
