Nigerian Nail Painter Sets Guinness World Record For The Longest Nail-a-Thon


Again, another Nigerian, Lisha Dachor sets Guinness World Record.

Nigerian painter, Lisha Dachor has set a new Guinness World Record for the longest nail painting (nail-a-thon) by an individual.

The record was set in 72 hours and was held from April 28 to May 1st.

The event which took place at Tamarald Events Center Jos, had the presence of the Plateau State Commissioner for Youths and Sport, Hon. Bashir Lawandi Datti, who was at the venue of the event to cheer and support the young nail painter.

 

Sharing the news via X, she wrote:

Breaking barriers and setting records!  Honored to have set a new milestone in the world of nail art with the longest marathon painting of artificial nails by an individual. Grateful for the journey and the incredible support.



The Honorable Commissioner, in a chat with Daily Trust said he felt happy that a young, passionate nail painter from his state was making such an attempt.

He said, “I went to the event center to encourage and support. She is the first person to make such an attempt and she is from our own Plateau state. Being the Commissioner for Youths and Sport Development, we need to encourage our youth to achieve their dreams in one way or the other.”

The honorable commissioner, who doubles as the Chairman of Nigeria’s Forum of Youth and Sports Development Commissioners, further supported her with a token of N100,000.

Dachor joins the likes of Hilda Baci and more recently Clara Kronborg, as record holders.
