British-Nigerian designer Liz Sanya has attempted to set a new Guinness World Record for the largest sandal in the world.
She began her 72-hour journey on January 2, completing it on the 4th of January, 2025 at Pixel Park, Lekki, Lagos. Her Guinness World Record (GWR) attempt, which attracted a large crowd of supporters who came to witness the remarkable achievement.
After she completed the largest sandal in the world, she said that believing her was free while doubting her would cost a price.
