A middle aged woman who was recently attacked by a robber shared her story and how she bravely defended herself at gun point.
54 year old Marnita Carter shared the story of how a young man about half her age tried to rob her of her belongings to the Chicago police.
According to her, a young man accosted her and asked for her purse, while she hesitated, he pulled out a gun and pointed it at her. She then summoned up courage and defended herself by forcefully taking the gun from the robber and shoot him.
He managed to collect the gun back and tried to shoot her with it, but fortunately, the gun jammed and the robber ran away.
He was later apprehended by the Chicago police few minuets after the incident.
