This Nigerian Super Model Missed The Biggest Show Of Her Career And You Won’t Believe Why


Mayowa Nicholas, one of Nigeria’s top models in diaspora has missed her debut in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show due to the fact that she was denied visa to China.

The 19-year-old was cast earlier this year to walk the runway of the high profile show alongside big names such as Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner.

Making the cut for a show that has one of the most rigorous casting system in the fashion industry, Mayowa’s career would have had a big boost if she had made it to the show.


Mayowa was very excited about walking for Victoria’s Secret as any model would be, and it is really unfortunate that she didn’t get the opportunity.
