The countdown to the 45th edition of the Miss Nigeria 2024 competition has officially begun. The stakes have gotten higher, as 20 contestants are now in the semi-finalist round after the initial introduction of 45.

For the first time, the public will play a pivotal role in the competition. Audience votes will secure one contestant a guaranteed spot in the Top 10, giving Nigerians the power to champion their favourites to the finals.

Recall that Dominic had announced the takeover of the Miss Nigeria pageant in October 2023, which was formerly managed by Folio Communications, the parent company of Daily Times founded by her husband, Fidelis Anosike.

The 45th Miss Nigeria will take place on Thursday, 19th December 2024, at the Royal Box Event Center, Victoria Island, Lagos.
