Meet The 37 Contestants Selected For The 2023 Miss Universe Nigeria Pageant
The 37 contestants from the different states across the country selected to compete for the maiden edition of the Miss Universe Nigeria 2023 have been unveiled.
The physical screening was held on August 18, 2023, at the Silverbird Galleria in Abuja.
The selection panel included award-winning international journalist and TV personality Keturah King, entrepreneur and public speaker Kiki Chiori, and Bridget Chigbufue, an award-winning presenter, host, digital and media strategist.
This year’s Miss Universe Nigeria pageant is a spin-off from Silverbird Communications’ famous Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) contest.
At the official media unveiling in May 2023, Guy Murray-Bruce, President of Silverbird Group, said that the Miss Universe Nigeria contest for the first time would take on an entirely different style and format from its mother body – Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) and become two separate and independent entities.
The winner who will be crowned on September 10 by reigning queen Hannah Iribhogbe, will compete in Miss Universe 2023 in November.
