Morayo Afolabi-Brown has openly declared her support for APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forthcoming 2023 elections.
In a post she shared on Thursday via her Instagram page, the ‘Your View’ host said she neither knew Peter Obi nor Atiku but was certain about Tinubu’s credibility. She also likened her decision to Oprah’s endorsement for Barack Obama in 2007.

On December 8, 2007, Oprah Winfrey in her first-ever public endorsement, endorsed Barack Obama.
It was a major risk to her non-Democrat supporters for something and someone she believes in. Truth is, Oprah never remained Oprah after that endorsement.
That season birthed her consciousness to further embrace her heritage and own it.
I’ve learnt that if you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything. I stand with Asiwaju for several reasons and I endorse him for several reasons.
I don’t know Atiku, neither do I know Peter Obi but Asiwaju, I know and trust. To me, he is a thoroughbred progressive with the ability to see and execute. He, my father (Alao Aka-Bashorun), alongside many others fought for Nigeria’s democracy. He developed a physical blueprint that Lagos is still using till this day.
He identified, selected and mentored leaders we still reference today. He is detribalized and has the ability to unite our fragmented country. Though imperfect, I believe he can progressively move our imperfect nation forward. If he wins, Nigeria wins
