[VIDEO] ‘It Is A Day I Would Never Forget’ -‘Your View’ Anchor, Morayo Afolabi-Brown Speaks On TVC Attack Experience

Morayo Afolabi-Brown has finally opened up about her experience after Television Continental(TVC )was attacked on Wednesday, Oct 21, 2020.

The attack was barely 24 hours after the reported Lekki Tollgate shooting.

The ‘Your View’ anchor and her co-host, Tope Mark-Odigie were hosting the live show when the TV station was burnt down.

She says it’s one experience she and Tope would never forget as they have been left traumatised.

Morayo said in the video:

On that day, we went to the show to share our views on what happened at the Lekki Tollgate. I told the ladies to come as this show may be our last for many reasons, I told them they should prepare to come and say their truth to power once and for all.

She added:

The part I missed in the video is that Tope’s car got burnt. I thought mine was burnt too until my driver brought it home the next day. He had fled like everyone else but since he lives in the neighbourhood and recognised some of the guys, he went back to get the car. They attacked him in the car, smashed all the front, back and side windows. They damaged other parts of the car while he drove through them and escaped with the car. He kept it somewhere and brought it back the next day.
