Netflix acquires the worldwide rights to Genevieve Nnaji’s comedy “Lion Heart” on the eve of its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Iconic Nigerian actress was set to premiere her directorial debut “Lion Heart” at the ongoing 2018 edition of the Toronto International Film Festival on the 7th of September.

“Lion Heart” marks the first Netflix original film from Nigeria. This seem to be a great milestone for Genevieve and the Nigerian movie industry. The movie which stars A’ list actors like Genevieve Nnaji, Nkem Owoh, Pete Edochie, Onyeka Onwenu, Jemima Osunde and many more.
