Veteran Nollywood actress Ada Ameh has died according to multiple reports.
It is reported that the 48-year-old actress died in a hospital in Delta state on Sunday, July 17. She was said to have been a guest of an oil company’s top shot and his family when she suddenly slumped.
Her death comes almost 2 years after she lost her only child, Aladi Godsgift in October 2020.
A few weeks ago, the actress opened up about her mental health challenges on a popular talk show, Your View.
She revealed that her mental health issues worsened with the death of her daughter who she had at age 14.
Ameh also revealed that she had also lost 3 sisters, 3 brothers, and her father prior to losing her daughter.
Ameh, who played the role of Anita in the movie ‘Domitilla’ in 1996, is famous for her comic characters, especially in the series The Johnsons.
