Rihanna has announced plans to launch her beauty brands in Nigeria and some other African countries.
The singer said both Fenty Skin and Fenty Beauty will be launched in Africa on May 27.
Making the announcement via her social media handles, she wrote:
“I’ve been waiting for this moment!!, acknowledging that her brands, Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin are finally dropping in AFRICA.
“Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe…we comin at ya May 27th and that’s just the beginning.”
Rihanna was inspired to create Fenty Beauty in 2017 after years of experimenting with the best-of-the-best in beauty—and still seeing a void in the industry for products that performed across all skin types and tones.
She launched a makeup line “so that people everywhere would be included,” focusing on a wide range of traditionally hard-to-match skin tones, creating formulas that work for all skin types, and pinpointing universal shades
