Early Life
Toyin Abraham was born September 5, 1984, in Auchi, a town in Edo State in Southern Nigeria but spent the early life in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State in the Southwestern part of Nigeria.
She is the youngest child in a family of five with a humble background.
Educational Background
Toyin Abraham attended St. Annes’ Secondary School, Ibadan where she was known as the drummer girl. She was actively involved in sporting activities like handball, football and many more which also got her a place in the Oyo state team.
The actress obtained a National Diploma in Marketing from Iree Polytechnic, Oyo state and went further to obtain a Higher National Diploma certificate in marketing from Ibadan polytechnic. She later proceeded to Olabisi Onabanjo University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in philosophy.
Career
Toyin began acting in 2003 when she auditioned for a role in a movie produced by Bukky Wright, a Nigerian film actress.
Over the years, she has produced, directed and featured in several Nigerian films, such as Alani Baba Labake, Alakada, Ebimi ni, Hakkunde, Seven and a half date, Ghost and the tout and many more. She also produced one of the best movies in 2017 that got her over 70 million Naira at the box office.
Awards
Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham has won several awards ranging from the best-supporting-actress and best lead actress in 2013 at the Best of Nollywood Awards to the best actress and best movie at BEN TV awards in 2014. She also had one of the highest gross at the box office in 2017 for her movie, “Alakada Reloaded”. She also won the award for best on the big screen at the ELOY awards in 2017.
Endorsement
Toyin Abraham signed a multimillion naira endorsement deal with a popular tech company Vas2Net technologies in 2014, which is her first popular endorsement. She also got a new endorsement deal with Globacom Nigeria as she joins the likes of Patience Ozorkwor, Sola Sobowale, and others as they featured in the new ‘Glo Oga Sim’ advert.
She also launched her lipstick line named “Body talk by Toyin” in 2018.

The news of her engagement to fellow actor, Kolawole Ajeyemi broke in August 2019.
She also welcomed her first child, IRE the same month.
