A Profile On One Of Nollywood’s Veteran Actresses, Victoria Inyama As She Turns A Year Older


Victoria Inyama is a veteran actress who was popular in the early ’90s for her acting prowess.

She was versatile and kept viewers on the edges of their seats with almost believable acting skills.

Here are facts about her as she turns a year older.

1. Early Life

Victoria Inyama was born on 23 November in Enugu State, Nigeria where she also hails from.

She bagged a B. Sc from the University of Lagos. She also has a degree in guidance and counseling from Lewisham Counseling school as well as the Greenwich school of management both in London.

2. Career

Inyama was discovered by popular actor, Alex Usifo. She, however, came into limelight for the role she played in the 1990s popular TV series, “Ripples” which was created and produced by legendary producer, Zeb Ejiro.

She has featured in lots of movies which include Silent Night, Housemates, Bimbo, All My Heart, Love from Above, Blind Love, Days of Agony, Iyanga to mention a few.


She moved to the United Kingdom after her wedding to focus on her marriage and family.

Inyama made a big comeback in 2017 in Talking Dolls. The movie featured the likes of Daniel K. Daniel, Belinda Effah, Mofe Duncan, Yetunde Oduwole, amongst others.

3. Personal Life

Inyama was married to Godwin Okri and they are blessed with three children, 2 boys, and a girl.

 

In February 2018, she pleaded for a divorce from her estranged husband on social media. They had split over allegations of domestic abuse and infidelity.
