The World Food Day is celebrated yearly every 16th of October in honor of the date of the founding of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in 1945.

The theme of the 2018 World Food Day is dedicated to tackling global hunger. In commemoration of the World Food Day, these are the most common food item you’ll find in every Nigerian home.

1.Rice
