Olufunke Akindele Bello popularly known as Funke Akindele, is a Nigerian award-winning Nollywood actress, producer, and entrepreneur.

Born August 24, 1977, in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria, She came to the limelight after featuring in the popular United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) sponsored sitcom; I Need to Know, which ran from 1998 to 2002.

Since then, she has only gone on to achieve greater things and become a force to reckon with in the entertainment industry and the world at large.

1. Get an education at all cost

Funke Akindele is definitely one of the most educated Nigerian celebrities and that’s a fact. After obtaining an OND in Mass Communication, she still went on to bag a degree in Law from the University of Lagos. She had a passion for acting but she made sure she first acquired education.

Never stop learning or educating yourself. Go to school, study, earn that degree and become a true professional.


2. Use your talents

It’s not news that Funke Akindele is multi-talented. Asides from being an actress and producer, she is also a lawyer, journalist, and dancer. She is what you call a ‘Jack of All Trades’ and ‘Master of All’ and she embodies all these professions in her daily life from time to time.

Her marriage in 2012 crashed less than a year later on the ground of irreconcilable differences. Even though she was already in her 30’s, it didn’t stop her from finding love again in the arms of JJC Skillz three years later. They are blessed with twin boys.
