Temi Otedola’s glamorous wedding to her longtime sweetheart, music star Mr. Eazi, has gotten everyone talking since the photos of their wedding emerged.
The couple, who have been together for eight years and openly shared their relationship journey with fans, celebrated their union in a series of intimate yet star-studded weddings across Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland.
Here are some of the major highlights from the wedding of the year.
A Trilogy of Ceremonies Across Continents
From a civil ceremony in Monaco to a traditional wedding in Dubai and the white wedding in Iceland, the union between Temi and Mr Eazi reflected a trilogy of ceremonies across continents.
The couple exchanged vows at the Mairie de Monaco in Monte Carlo on May 9, a date chosen to honor Mr. Eazi’s late mother’s birthday. It was an intimate, understated affair attended by just the couple and two witnesses. The reception was held at the elegant Villa La Vigie, once home to Karl Lagerfeld.
Next, they celebrated in vibrant style at the Otedola family residence in Dubai Hills Estate on July 5. The intimate ceremony had about 80 high-profile guests in total, including billionaire Aliko Dangote, with a performance from King Sunny Ade.
Iceland was the final destination, where the white wedding was held, with a surprise appearance from legendary artist John Legend.
The Most Expensive Wedding in African History
With the estimated wedding cost of $15 million, it now surpasses other high-profile weddings, making it Africa’s most expensive wedding in history.
Temi’s Wedding Looks
What is a wedding without fashion and breathtaking looks? Temi’s white wedding dress, an Audrey Hepburn-inspired Fendi Haute Couture gown, is definitely one for the books.

This silk masterpiece paid homage to Hepburn’s classic 1954 bridal style. The marble-like texture created an ethereal effect as Temi walked down the aisle.
Temi wore multiple custom couture pieces, including designs from Zac Posen (a duchess satin gown with a bow resembling dove wings), Miss Sohee, and Lisa Folawiyo (including an akwa ocha ensemble honoring Igbo heritage), for her traditional wedding in Dubai.
For the civil ceremony, she debuted a chic Wiederhoeft suit and later changed into a playful white polka-dot dress with bold black dots, a deep V-neckline, a black corset waist, and a wide-brimmed black hat.
In a recent post on Instagram, Temi revealed that 4,590 hours were spent crafting her gown by 7 embroidery artisans, 3 couturiers, and 5 handworkers.
Dangote and Femi Otedola’s Speech
One of the most memorable moments of the wedding was the speeches by Aliko Dangote and the bride’s father, Femi Otedola. Dangote revealed how Temi was special to him and that Tosin (Mr Eazi) was a great guy.
“Knowing that the two of you are always very charming and very entrepreneurial, I’m sure in the next few years we will take a back seat and call you the richest people on earth.” he added.
On his part, Otedola advised his daughter to prioritize her marriage and put her husband first.
“You found a great guy, a very great guy, a blessed guy. He’s come from a very decent family. One thing I’ll advise you… You have to succumb to the whims and caprices of your husband. Okay? He’s your husband; he’s your boss. There’s no more Dad; don’t call me up,” Otedola said.
