1. Early life

She was born Sunshine Anwuri Rosman on July 25 to a Canadian father and a Nigerian mother from Imo State in the Ijeshatedo area of Surulere, where she grew up. She shares the same birthday date as her mother.

Shine is the second of four children; she has one brother and two sisters. Her sisters, Uto Rosman (Nwadiuto Cassandra Rosman) and Honey Rosman (Honeybell Michella Rosman), are also involved in entertainment as models, actresses, and media personalities.

Her late father, Giovanni Rosman, was an actor known for his roles in movies like “The Missing God” (2016), “Systemic Lies” (2018), and “A Trip To Libya” (2018). He passed away in 2018.

Her mother, Amaka Sisterly, is a humanitarian who founded a charity and non-governmental (NGO) organization called Available Shoulders in 2005. It caters to orphans, widows, physically challenged individuals, and the less privileged.

Rosman started her acting career in 2015, making her debut at just 14 years old in the family drama comedy series “Lunch Time Heroes,” where she portrayed the character Amara, but it was her role in the series “My Siblings And I” that shot her into the limelight.
