Former Big Brother Nigeria housemate Anto Lecky has been appointed as Special Adviser on Tourism and Creative Economy by Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo.
Lecky previously served as Senior Special Assistant on Tourism and Creative Economy before being elevated to the new role.
The state government announced the appointment on Tuesday as part of its efforts to develop tourism and the creative economy in Edo State.
The statement added, “In her new role, Lecky will serve as Special Adviser on Tourism and Creative Economy under the Okpebholo administration.
The appointment comes a little over a year after she began serving in her previous capacity.

Thank you, HE Senator Monday Okpebholo @he_mondayokpebholo, for the opportunity to continue serving Edo people, now as Special Adviser on Tourism and Creative Economy.
Thanks to my chairman and the SSG @musa.ikhilor for their strong support through this journey. In just a little over a year, I’ve been given a promotion to do more for my state, and I am extremely grateful. My open-door policy remains—feel free to reach out to me with your tourism and creative ideas for the state. Together, let’s take Edo to the World.
I will also like to remind my fellow public figures/celebrities that have been appointed by governors to please truly answer the call and do the job. I know how difficult it might be to leave the comfort of your homes and go back to your states, but your people need you, and the work is rewarding.
