The BET Awards is the Black Entertainment Television Awards held to promote black excellence in entertainment. This year’s edition was held at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday June 23, 2019 in Los Angeles, California.

There were a range of nominees who deserved to win each award, and there certainly had to be one winner.


Nigerian artistes like Burna Boy, Teni and Mr Eazi made us proud by getting nominated for these awards; however, only Burna Boy took an award home.
