Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie Is The Cover Star For Marie Claire Brazil’s Latest Issue

Our very own Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, renowned novelist, was featured on the cover of Marie Claire Brazil, an international magazine in Brazil.

Marie Claire Brazil has become the biggest fashion-oriented female magazine and the most read women’s magazine in the country ever since its inception in 1991.

Chimamanda took to her Instagram page on Saturday to share how delighted she was and to express her gratitude:

Once again, more people have shown their support for feminism, and at Marie Claire, they’ve done this by featuring the excellent novelist on their first digital cover. With the cover as the photo of Chimamanda Adichie, Marie Claire Brazil just communicates with more women around the world.

The 41-year old is recognized for work such as: Americanah (2013), `Half of a Yellow Sun’ (2006), `We Should All Be Feminists’ (2014) and `The Thing Around Your Neck’ (2009).

It is yet another beginning, as many people in the world continue to join hands to support feminism and its cause.
