Our very own Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, renowned novelist, was featured on the cover of Marie Claire Brazil, an international magazine in Brazil.

Marie Claire Brazil has become the biggest fashion-oriented female magazine and the most read women’s magazine in the country ever since its inception in 1991.

Chimamanda took to her Instagram page on Saturday to share how delighted she was and to express her gratitude:

“Delighted to be on the cover of Marie Claire Brazil. And to highlight the work of talented designers: Brazilian @renatabuzzo.veglab and Nigerians @kikikamanu and @the_ladymaker Thank you @lauraancona @driferreira @Kakakaren_ka @ruafilmes. And everyone at the Marie Claire Brazil team for taking a stand for feminism,’’

Once again, more people have shown their support for feminism, and at Marie Claire, they’ve done this by featuring the excellent novelist on their first digital cover. With the cover as the photo of Chimamanda Adichie, Marie Claire Brazil just communicates with more women around the world.
