Nigerian Media Entrepreneur Breaks Guinness World Record For Longest Interviewing Marathon


A Nigerian media entrepreneur, Clara Chizoba Kronborg has achieved a significant feat by breaking the Guinness World Record for the Longest Interviewing Marathon.

She is the host of the Women’s World Show based in Marbella, Spain, and set the record clocking an impressive time of 55 hours and 24 seconds.

In a statement issued yesterday, Guinness World Record disclosed that the interview started on March 8, 2024, and was completed on March 10, 2024.

Kronbong, who hails from Okija, Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State, also doubles as a vocal advocate for diversity and inclusion, deploying the transformative power of storytelling across various media platforms. Her achievements are a testament to the fact that hard work and dedication can lead to remarkable results.

“As we look forward to her future projects, we cannot help but feel inspired and motivated by her determination and perseverance,” the statement read.

She is the CEO of CCK Ventures & Enterprise SL, a production company based in Spain and her passion for entrepreneurship is inspiring, and she is already planning her next big project, an entrepreneurship TV show and an Online TV network that would connect African/Nigerians in the diaspora, creating opportunities and fostering unity among African and European communities.


“Her PR officer, Samuel Samson, and her Manager, Damilare Adebanjo, are already planning a welcome party for her homecoming a few weeks from now.

“She plans to return to her hometown in Anambra State, Nigeria where the welcome party will be held,” the statement added.

In her remarks, she said, “This achievement is dedicated to all those who dare to dream and persist, regardless of the challenges they face. It’s a reminder that passion and perseverance lead to purpose, and that dreams are indeed valid.”

Born in Onitsha State, Clara Kronborg is the youngest of six siblings—four brothers and a sister. She had her early education from primary to secondary in Onitsha. She also attended Queens College in Enugu State. She has a daughter, whom she welcomed in 2018.

Kronborg seeks to be the voice of the voiceless, especially regarding women’s issues, having experienced firsthand what it feels like to be poor.
