Cocktail drinks are needed in almost every party and it would be amazing if you can make them in Nigeria. A cocktail is basically a mixed drink featuring two or more alcoholic drinks, one of which is usually a distilled drink – vodka, brandy and many more.

It’s always cheaper and fun to make your own cocktail. This post will show you the easy cocktails you can make in Nigeria.
1.Margarita
A citrusy cocktail, the margarita combines a mix of tequila, triple sec and lime or lemon juice, often served with salt on the rim of the glass.
Rub the rim of the serving glass with the lime slice to make the salt stick to it. Add all remaining ingredients to a cocktail shaker or jug and shake the ingredients for 15 seconds then carefully pour into the glass. Garnish with a slice of lime and serve with extra ice cubes.
2.Chapman
Chapman ranks high among Nigerian cocktail recipes. It’s an easy non-alcoholic drink to make at home. All you need are 6-8 ice cubes, 3 teaspoons of Angostura Aromatic Bitters, 350 mL of Fanta, 350 mL of Sprite, 120 mL of Grenadine Syrup, Half a lemon, Half an orange.
Mix all ingredients in a large jug (except the ice cubes). Put the drink in the fridge. After two hours, your cocktail should be ice cold. You can now serve with ice and sliced fruits. Your friends will love you for it!
3.Cosmopolitan
This is one of the most common cocktails you’ll find in restaurants. This cocktail is made up of vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice, and freshly squeezed or sweetened lime juice.
All you need to do is fill a mixing bowl with ice, add all the ingredients and stir continuously for about 20 seconds, pour the mixture into a cocktail glass, cut a Piece of orange peel about the size of a thumb, bend the orange peel to release its oil onto a lighted match, igniting a flame on the surface of the drink.
4.Orange Juice Cocktail
One of the easiest cocktails in existence and it’s also called Screwdriver. All you need to do is simply mix vodka and orange juice.
5.Long Island Iced Tea
This cocktail does not feature iced tea in its line up of drinks, it got its name due to its hue which is similar to iced tea. Long island iced tea is made with tequila, vodka, light rum, triple sec, gin and a splash of cola.
6.Martini
This is one of the most popular cocktails, the martini has various such as the apple martini, dry martini and more. The standard martini is however made with gin and vermouth and garnished with an olive or a lemon twist.
