Entrepreneur, business mogul, and philanthropist Elizabeth Jack-Rich is putting Nigeria on the world map, and it’s impressive.
Here are some things to know about her.
1. She was born Elizabeth Itunnuayo on May 18th, 1993, to a Nigerian father from Ondo and an Israeli mother.
2. She graduated from the University of Applied Science and Management, Port-Novo.
3. She soon began a journey into entrepreneurship, founding Elin Group in 2017 shortly after. Under her stewardship as CEO, the privately held conglomerate has grown its presence in numerous sectors, including energy, real estate, agriculture, and aviation, among others, with footprints in West Africa and in the United States.
4. Elizabeth Jack-Rich holds the Rising Women Leaders Programme and Entrepreneurship Essentials qualifications from Cambridge University and Harvard University, respectively.
5. She has a degree in strategic management from Harvard University.
6. Her passion for impact soon led her to establish the Elizabeth Jack-Rich Foundation, a non-profit organization, in December 2017. The foundation has awarded more than 100 scholarships to the poor, with a focus on bringing hope to people in need, young people, the elderly, and veterans in Nigeria, Africa, and the world.
7. Jack-Rich also established a special public welfare fund to support rural women in Nigeria called the Opportunities for Rural Women’s Development Initiative (ORWODI).
8. She has been recognized for her work with awards like won numerous awards, including the Honorary Doctorate of Leadership and Community Development from the ISFOB of Benin University, the Philanthropist, and the Goodwill Ambassador Award from Accolade Global.
9. She was awarded the Young Female Leader Award in 2019.
10. Jack-Rich became the first African woman to be featured on the cover of the World Finance Spring Issue in April 2020.
11. She also made the cover of Forbes China May Issue 2020, where she spoke on her entrepreneurial journey and leadership.

12. She is married to Tein T.S. Jack-Rich, also a philanthropist and founder of BELEMA OIL, and they are blessed with four adorable children.
