‘I Got Into Drugs Because Of Domestic Violence From My Ex-Husband’ – Etinosa Idemudia
Etinosa Idemudia has shared horrific details of the domestic abuse she suffered at the hands of her ex-husband.
The actress and social media influencer said this in a candid conversation with renowned media personality Chude Jideonwo,
Etinosa revealed that she got married at the tender age of 22 and became a victim of brutal domestic violence, to the point where her life was in jeopardy.
She narrated how her estranged husband once tortured her to confess if she was cheating on him.
According to her account, he tied her up and plunged her head into the water in the night, threatening her to confess.
Reflecting on her naivety at the time, she admitted, I no know anything. I was a mumu. I was 22 when I got married. My ex-husband told me that ‘I’m not your friend, I’m your lord.”
She also revealed how the abuse led to her involvement with drugs.
