Eva Alordiah Wants Women To Take Sexual Health Checkups Seriously In Her Short Film “Where Is The Condom?”

Nigerian rapper and beauty entrepreneur, Eva Alordiah hasn’t been in the music scene for a while but this doesn’t mean she’s been out of touch. The multi-talented entertainer has been using her online platforms to start conversations on sex positivity and has constantly encouraged women to learn more about their vaginas.

Taking the conversation to the next level, Eva Alordiah has created a thoughtful short film titled, Where Is The Condom, where she challenges the stigma surrounding sexual health checkups.

Written by and starring Eva, the short film follows a young couple, Elohor and Ade,  layed by Bobby Uranta, who have consensual sex after returning from a fun outing. Unfortunately, things get awkward when the condom disappears right after they finish having sex.

With no agreement that their sexual intercourse was going to be without a condom, Elohor demands an explanation. Unable to give one, other than he was ‘feeling’ her, Elohor demands a test.

Elohor wants to be sure that they are both clean from sexually transmitted diseases but Ade doesn’t seem to see it as necessary because he is ‘clean’. Not backing down on her demands, Ade agrees to a test and the results thankfully come out negative.

In less than ten minutes, Eva manages to pass an important message across about the importance of keeping safe sexual habits and also destigmatizing STI testing. With this film, Eva is drawing our attention to the importance of having sexual checkups because even condoms may not be entirely safe.
