1. Genevieve Nnaji

The well-renowned actress and Lion Heart film producer is known for her diverse productions and projects. In 2014, she released her signature collection St. Genevieve. This collection includes women’s wears for corporate affairs and casual outings. The producer  named a collection “Philomena” after the her grandmother. She describes her as a loving and caring woman full of strength and passion.

2. Toke Makinwa

Soon after her birthday in 2017, the popular Nigerian on-air personality and TV host announced the launch of her fashion brand Toke Makinwa Luxury. One of her collections includes exotic handbags for ladies, and the signature piece is “TM Tote”. She names the collection of handbags  “Baby Girl for Life” after her mother.

3. Agbani Darego

Everyone recognizes her as the Ex-Miss World of 2001. Her international modeling career has expanded her interest in fashion, and this is with her clothing line AD, an acronym of her name. The fashion line includes denim wears, fashion clothing, handbags, accessories and footwear that are glamorous.

The fashion line is called Omoni Oboli by AVE, and she runs it in partnership with high class Nigerian designer Ayo Van Elmar.

The most popular dance-artiste in Nigeria and C.E.O of Imagento Dance company also owns a clothing line known as Yanga. It launched in 2014 with a collection known as “Ijoda”, which means “dance is good” in Yoruba. The dancer announced the opening of this brand on her social media accounts, and fans were thrilled at the launch.

7. Tania Omotayo

 

Popularly known as Nigerian singer Wizkid’s ex-girlfriend,  Tania Omotayo owns a fashion line called Ziva Lagos. These wears saw its launch in December 2016. Many celebrities attended the launch, as it was a grand opening. Ziva Lagos includes kimono jackets, pants and beachwear for ladies.
