1.Georgina Onuoha was born on September 29, 1980, in Lagos

2. She is from Anambra state.

3. She got her first movie role in 1990 at the age of 10 years.

4. She had her secondary education at Badagry Grammar School before she proceeded to the Lagos State University (LASU) where she earned two degrees,  an associate degree in International Law and Diplomacy, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Strategic Studies.

5.Onuoha came into limelight in 2003 after acting in the Nollywood blockbuster movie, Egg of Life.

6. Some of the movies she featured in include;  Die Another Day, Without Apology, Valentino, Eye of the Gods, Osuofia in London, Abuja Connection, Across the Niger, 2 Rats, Abuja Connection, Ure, Runs, Misplaced, Cursed from Beyond, etc.

7.She took a break from acting as she moved to the United States where she studied Healthcare Administration at the Western Career College in Sacramento, California.

 8. In 2011, she worked as a Quality Assurance Auditor at the North American Healthcare Inc. Between 2013 and 2017, she worked for the Private Medical Practice of Dr. Nwangburuka (MD) as an administrator. Since 2017, she has worked at the Allmed Medical Corporation in Sacramento, California, as a Quality Assurance Auditor and Data analyst.

9. In an Instagram post in March 2016, she revealed that she suffered from an unnamed illness for 8 years. She also revealed in an interview that this was why she stopped acting movies.

10. She made a comeback to Nollywood in 2016 when she acted in a movie titled ‘Ure’.

11. She was married to American based Dr. Ifeanyi Igwegbe. The marriage which broke up in 2015 produced two beautiful daughters.

12. She won the Nollywood Most Promising Actress in Nigeria at the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) in 2003 and was nominated as Best Supporting Actress at the same awards in 2006.

13. She bagged a Master’s of Science in Health Informatics from Trident University International in Cypress, California in July 2018.

14. She underwent successful surgery in 2019.
