Angelique Kidjo has won the Best World Music Album award at the 62nd Grammy Awards held on Sunday night.
Beninese born Kidjo won the award for her album ‘Celia’.
In her acceptance speech, the four-time Grammy award winner dedicated the award to Burna Boy who was also up for the award.
Kidjo and Burna Boy collaborated on the track “Different” a standout from his hit album African Giant, which also features Damian Marley.
Burna Boy has also expressed being a major fan of the celebrated artist on several occasions.
