Angelique Kidjo has won the Best World Music Album award at the 2020 Grammy Awards held on Sunday night.
Beninese-born Kidjo won the award for her album ‘Celia.’
In her acceptance speech, the four-time Grammy Award winner dedicated the award to Burna Boy, who was also up for the award.
Kidjo and Burna Boy collaborated on the track “Different,” a standout from his hit album African Giant, which also features Damian Marley.
Burna Boy has also expressed being a major fan of the celebrated artist on several occasions.
