Kemi Adetiba’s ‘Wedding Party 1’ and ‘King of Boys‘ have made the Top 10 Highest Grossing Nollywood Movies List of the last decade.
In the list by Film one, Wedding Party with N452m is in the first place.
Adetiba made the announcement via her Instagram page on Tuesday.

TOP 10 HIGHEST GROSSING FILMS OF THE LAST DECADE!!! Number 1 & 4 directed by Kemi Adetiba. I had a bit of a moment when I saw this. You wouldn’t understand. One day, I shall be more explicit about my journey getting here, and how there was a time this was the farthest dream from my reality. Where my future was actually a matter of concern. There has been so much oiling, sacrifice, and hard work sown into this journey for the last 19 years… Yes NINETEEN!!! And a good chunk of that was neither ranked or celebrated. And that’s alright. It’s not about awards or ranking, but WHY and for WHOM we do this for. And it is for YOU. But I’d be lying if I said it did not feel good to be recognized, especially when one throws back and appreciates the grueling effort it took to get here. And we got here by doing nothing but the HARD work. No gimics… No short-cuts. It is very possible. I have no Manager, no agent, no PR company, not even a PA!!! Please do not let anyone tell you different. Or convince you to compromise yourself to get to your goals. Now it won’t be easy. And I still feel I have to prove myself every gotdamn day… But as turn 40 tomorrow, and in this moment of reflection, I feel so blessed. I feel extremely grateful. I am super AMPED and ready to take on the next decade. God help me. #MamaIMadeIt
