Aisha Yesufu has revealed that she was the one who asked her husband out.
In an exclusive with the BBC News Pidgin, the Edo activist who has been married for 21 years advised women in their 30’s and 40’s to shoot their shots instead of waiting for men to ask them out.
She also admitted that she likes to be in control and that all her romantic relationships were engineered by her.
Speaking on hateful insults targeted at her on social media, Yesufu said she does not allow them to affect her and that insults were a part of her humble beginnings.
