Actor Idris Elba, who just went into his third marriage with Sabrina Dhowre, narrates his experiences with her and reveals how she changed his mind about marriage.
On his relationship with his wife, Idris Elba tells British Vogue’s editor-in-chief, Enninful, “We’ve been literally inseparable since we met,”
A night in 2017 in a Vancouver jazz bar, while Idris was filming The Mountain Between Us in the city, as soon as they saw each other, it was “love at first sight”.
“You know, I’m 47 this year, been married and lived a full life before I even met Sabrina. It wasn’t something that I wanted to do, get married again. But…”
Vogue also reports that Sabrina Dhowre and Idris Elba decided to have their wedding in Morocco because the bride and groom’s families are from East and West Africa respectively, and so it seemed apt to meet in the middle.
The actor adds that his wife, Sabrina, always tells him how important it is to connect with his friends. Idris Elba says that the two have great chemistry, and we can definitely see that.
