Result Shows Murdered Job Seeker, Iniobong Umoren Emerged Best Student of Her Graduating Class

Iniobong Umoren, the slain job seeker has emerged as the best graduating student in her class.

The 26-year-old who recently graduated from the Department of Philosophy at the University of Uyo finished with a G.PA of 4.12 grade (Second Class Upper).

Iniobong is seventh among the top graduating students of her class according to the final result released by the University of Uyo.

Idorenyin Esikot, associate professor and acting head, Department of Philosophy, University of Uyo confirmed the authenticity of the result in an interview with Premium Times.

He added that Iniobong was some points from making a first-class.

Mr Esikot said Miss Umoren’s tragic end was a personal loss to him. “Anytime I remember it, it’s like a nightmare. Very unfortunate,” he said.

If not for her untimely death, Ini was set to be mobilized for the mandatory NYSC next week.
