The Lagos State Governor, Jide Sanwo-Olu has approved the appointment of Adeseye Margaret as a Director in the fire service.
Adeseye was Acting Head of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service until her latest appointment.
The Head of Service(HOS), Hakeem Muri-Okunola confirmed the news in a letter on Friday, May 7.
On her part, Adeseye has expressed her gratitude to the governor by declaring that she is ready to address any form of fire safety threat to the lives and property of Lagosians.

1. Adeseye Abimola was born on March 21, 1976.
2. She hails from Eredo, Epe area of Lagos State.

7. She has obtained Basic and Advanced Certificates in Professional Fireman Competency and Higher Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety from the Federal College of Education, Technical, Akoka, Lagos in the course of her career.
8. She is a Professional Member of the Emergency, Crisis, and Risk Management Institute.
9. She rose to become Chief Fire Officer on 1st July 2019, and subsequently the Acting Head, Lagos State Fire Service.
10. Adeseye is happily married with children.
