1. Early Life

Linda Ihuoma Ejiofor was born on the 17th of July, 1986, in Lagos, and she is the second of five children. She hails from Isuikwuato in Abia State, Nigeria.

2. Educational Background

She attended Labo Primary School, Surulere, before heading to Federal Government Girls’ College, Onitsha, for her secondary education. Linda obtained her B.Sc. in sociology at the University of Port Harcourt.

3. Career

Ejiofor initially wanted to work for an advertising agency. In an interview posted on The Nation, she said she changed her mind about pursuing a career in advertising after developing an interest in acting.

She also has an active career as an editorial model, having been the face of several AD campaigns and TV commercials. Some of these brands include Amstel Malta, Taxify, Mega Growth, Bank PHB, Maclean toothpaste, and Louise Valentino Furniture House.

Her journey into acting began in 2008 as ‘Bimpe’ in the long-running web series Tinsel. She shot into more prominence for her role as ‘Ejura’ in the 2012 rom-com, The Meeting, starring alongside Rita Dominic and other great actors.

She also featured in TV series and web series, including Ndani TV’s Rumour Has It, Industreet, You, Me and The Guys, and many more.

4. Personal Life

The delectable Linda is married to actor Ibrahim Suleiman. Their love story began on the set of Tinsel, a popular Nigerian television series. They got married on the 8th of November, 2018, traditionally, while their destination white wedding was held on Saturday, the 11th of November, 2018. The couple welcomed their first child, Keon Iman Suleiman, on 9 July 2020.

Linda Ejiofor has been nominated for various awards, including the Best Rising Star Female award at the 2013 Nollywood Movies Awards and the TV Actress of the Year award at the 2014 ELOY Awards.

She made history when she became the first actress to win two AMVCA awards in one night, Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Herd and Best Lead Actress for Serpent’s Gift.
