Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson has announced the release of her first book titled ‘YOU-berty,’ written for children aged 10 to 13. The book serves as a guide on puberty and personal development.

Announcing it via her Instagram page on Thursday, Feb 26, she said, “I recently wrote a book on puberty for children ages 10–13—a heartfelt project designed to guide young minds through one of the most important transitions of their lives with clarity, confidence, and the right information.”

Aside from that, she was busy with other productive endeavors.

I’m currently deep into my studies in functional medicine at the Rockwell School of Holistic Medicine. The journey has been intense but incredibly fulfilling. Expanding my knowledge in holistic health is not just academic; it is purpose-driven.

I’m excited to have signed on as an ambassador for a new brand (more details soon!). It’s always an honor to represent values and a vision that align with mine.

She also acknowledged her recent role as a Special Adviser in Edo State.

I’ve also taken on a new responsibility as Special Adviser on Public Engagement and Advocacy to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo. This assignment is one I hold with deep commitment to service, impact, and meaningful change.
And in the midst of it all, I remain a proud wife and a yummy mummy, balancing purpose with family and grace with growth, she added.

With this, Mercy Johnson officially joins the growing list of Nigerian celebrities who are authors.
