Daughter of Popular Gospel Singer Micah Stampley Dies At 15

The family of Gospel singer Micah Stampley has been thrown into mourning over the death of his 15-year-old daughter, Mary.

“It is with a heavy heart that the Stampley family would like to announce the passing of their 15-year-old daughter, Mary Stampley. Please keep their family in your prayers and respect their privacy as they deal with this traumatic event,” read a statement from the singer’s publicist on Tuesday (Oct. 22).

Mary reportedly died Tuesday after a seizure. No other information was available about her health history.

The singer, who has been nominated for several Dove and Stellar Awards, lives in Fayetteville. He and his wife, Heidi, own Orleans Brews and Beignets.
