1. Born Omowumi Onalaja, she was born 25th September 1990 in the city of Lagos but hails from Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State.
2. She attended Kemsing School International, Ikoyi, Lagos and Queens College, Yaba, Lagos, for her secondary education. She graduated in 2010 from Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State, where she studied International Relations.
3. She also has a diploma in Acting for Film from the New York Film Academy in 2013.
4. Mimi worked in Human Resource consulting during her NYSC in 2010 before she got into the entertainment industry.
5. She also worked with Deloitte Nigeria as a Human Capital Consulting Associate between 2012-2013.
6. Mimi worked at Nemesia Studios as a production manager between 2013 and 2014.
7. She joined EbonyLife TV in 2014 and was the host of VVIP events.She is also the host of Game Show, Play to Win.
8. The stylish and pretty presenter has a column on Style Vitae – ‘For The Life of Mimi’, where she shares her awesome style and wonderful experiences.
