Nigerian model Adetutu has finally gained Rihanna’s attention after she launched an online campaign in September 2018 on all her social media handles to gain the attention of popular singer Rihanna as a way to get a modeling endorsement for the singer’s Fenty Beauty brand.

Another major aim of this campaign is to discourage bullying, as she narrates how she was bullied because of her tribal marks. Adetutu’s tribal marks are on both sides of her cheeks, which is a cultural identity of the Eruwa people of Oyo State.

This is who I am….. My tribal marks made me stronger in the face of bullying and civilization. It’s a flaw I will have to carry till I die… It doesn’t define the real me, and I stopped feeling lesser since I found myself and start loving me.

She has gained the attention of many Nigerians on Instagram and Twitter, who have helped retweet, repost, and tag Rihanna in order for her to come across Adetutu.

Day 6 of 31 My wish is to model for Rihanna. @badgalriri Don’t blame me for aiming too high. Dreams come true. Can y’all please help mention @badgalriri, @priscillaono, @jennnrosales, @balleralert, @afropunk, @the_commentsection, @erykahbadu, @diddy, and @afropunk? And also repost this, please. Thanks.

Now that Rihanna has followed Adetutu on Instagram, she is excited for this huge stage. She hopes that very soon, Rihanna’s management will contact her to be a part of the Fenty brand modeling. Her supporters on Instagram and Twitter congratulate her on this bold step she has taken and continue to hope that her dreams will finally come true.
