A Nigerian woman, Ajibola Otunbusin gave birth to her first child at the age of 67 in a hospital located in Abeokuta, Ogun state.

Ajibola and her husband, Professor Samuel Olu Otunbusin had waited for the fruit of the womb for 39 years. The happy mother and her husband welcomed their baby boy at Atoke Medical Centre, Abeokuta on Saturday, 20th October 2018.

During this time of waiting, the couples have tried almost everything possible to have a child.

On one of the occasions of consulting specialists, they traveled to India but all effort still proved abortive.

As all medical effort proved abortive, Ajibola said she decided to wait upon the Lord and he gave a child after such a long wait. Ajibola however encouraged Nigerian women having issues with childbirth not lose hope.
