As years go by, many people on the internet (usually called ‘trolls’) and in the world at large body-shame, criticize, judge, and even assault others, celebrities included.
Whenever a negative comment is thrown, a celebrity would either have a pitiful or a ”legit” reply, or even feel bad about those comments. However, some other celebrities simply ignore the negative comments. For instance, Regina Daniels hasn’t replied any negative comment concerning her so-called ‘shameful’ marriage to Ned Nwoko.
The same goes for afropop singer, Omawumi. In a recent interview with Hip TV, the singer says that negative comments don’t affect her the way they used to when she just started music.
This is understandable because overtime, we’ve seen how these people with negative comments aren’t even worth the trouble. Some celebrities would even go as far as checking their profile and saying something more negative about the trolls, but Omawumi simply doesn’t have such time.
Instead, she’s focusing more on her music and bringing positive energy. She also explains how her latest album, ‘In Her Feelings’, was dedicated to her husband.
